April 11, Blackwater is at The American Legion, Post 129 in Jax Beach for a Saturday night show, 7:00 to 10:00, in the Liberty Hall, Non-Smoking, CASH BAR ONLY. Then on May 22, enjoy a 6:00 steak dinner then a Blackwater show from 7 to 10 at The American Legion Post 233. Save the Date: Blackwater will be playing on September 26 for the "Waste Not Want Not - Corks & Forks: The Cigars & Bourbon Edition Event" at the Sawgrass Marriott in Ponte Vedra Beach! Waste Not Want Not is a food rescue nonprofit that rescues surplus food and distributes it to nearly 100 partner organizations across 14 counties in Northeast Florida — keeping millions of pounds of food out of landfills and putting meals on the tables of families, seniors, veterans, and kids who need it. Blackwater's roadtrip to New Orleans on for the Archer Summit, House of Blues, Voodoo Lounge Event was the ultimate experience for the band! Blackwater put on a show that was off the charts! In addition, the band was given backstage passes to the Cowboy Mouth Concert and Blackwater's bass player, Dan DeRosa, went on stage and played the drums with Cowboy Mouth during the show! Blackwater members also met the drummer, Casey Grillo, from Queensryche who came out to watch Blackwater's show. It was 4 days of playing and listening to great music, enjoying authentic Creole/Cajun food and New Orleans traditions, and having the most fun!
